Fall Fun Day

RockclimbingOn Saturday, October 25th,Farrington Nature Linc hosted our first ever public program, bringing nearly 20 children and 15 adults to enjoy a beautiful fall day in the woods on our property. As families arrived, they spent some time making their own leaf animals using leafs found on the property. Then, we went on a fall hike, ending at our favorite rock. Children young and old enjoyed the time to explore the woods with their families. Toddlers in arms used binoculars for the first time, and older kids acted as guides, scouting out interesting objects ahead and reporting back to the group what they found.

After our hike, families picked their own pumpkins and used paint to decorate and take with them. Families ended the afternoon with glasses of hot cider and free time to play with each other. Pumpkinpainting
