Celebrate Farrington Memorial's Centennial with the Lincoln Historical Society on Sunday October 16 at 2 pm Join us to hear the stories of how one of the oldest family farms in Lincoln became “a vacation home for needy children” in the 20th century and a vital “Nature Linc” today for children from nearby urban communities! For 100 years, the trustees of Charles F. Farrington have welcomed children from low-income communities to Lincoln's fresh air and natural surroundings on 75 acres of secluded pasture and woodlands that were farmed by descendants of Gregory Stone from 1653 until 1870.But few Lincoln residents even know it's there! Plan to stay after the talk for guided tours of this beautiful and remarkably well-preserved historic site and its buildings!

DIRECTIONS: Enter Farrington's property at 295 Cambridge Turnpike only from the eastbound side of Route 2, just after the intersection with Page Road and immediately after the parking for Gerard?s Farm Stand. Farrington's driveway is narrow and obscured, so please pull into the breakdown lane in front of Gerard's and look for our sign beyond the hedge to your right.
